Movidea is a software developed by Ab.Acus to support early diagnosis of neurodevelopmental disorders through motion tracking of infant free movements. The software has been designed and developed as part of a collaboration with the Istituto Superiore di Sanità (ISS) in Rome to assist the Italian Network for early Detection of Autism spectrum disorder (NIDA) in their daily work.

The core concept is to track the motion of the four limbs of the infant lying supine, to identify early digital markers of neurodevelopmental disorders. While the software is widely used at ISS and preliminary clinical results are on the way, Brain Sciences has just published our method paper. Enjoy it on the publisher website
