Embedded Applications

Key issue in the area of ICT is integration among smart devices with the aim to build intelligent living environments. This innovation line is requesting the availability of connected transparent sensors capable of gathering valuable data, devoted miniaturised actuators able to respond to instructions and, generally, ubiquitous devices that can communicate among them and with central and remote control systems.

Ab.Acus has been actively working in the integration of heterogeneous devices in broad and multi-purpose infrastructures, with a particular focus in the management of sensors for remote health monitoring. Our expertise covers the full stack process, from the firmware for on-board management of communication to the middleware for cloud-based data storage, passing through data gateways setup and software interfaces for the local management of the devices.

Our long track experience in dealing with different commercial and prototypical devices allows us to daily renovate the knowledge needed to effectively interface hardware and software platforms, while enlarging the panorama of available and connected data sources.
