mResist – Mobile Therapeutic Attention for Patients with Treatment Resistant Schizophrenia
The primary objective of the m-Resist project is to develop a therapeutic program that draws on the support of mobile devices to actively involve patients with treatment-resistant schizophrenia, to make them capable of self-managing their own illness, as well as to support their careers. This may facilitate acceptance and involvement of patients with their own treatment, as well as of caregivers. Moreover, this programme could provide a new tool to the psychiatrists and psychologists working together with other health care professionals, to better monitor patients, through a personalised and optimised therapeutic process.
