Biomedical engineer specialized in Electronic Technologies from Politecnico di Milano with Master in Computer Science from the University of Houston (firstname.lastname@example.org).
She is in Ab.Acus from December 2015, in quality of Software Manager and EU researcher in the field of signal processing, image processing and machine learning. She worked in collaboration with the Houston Methodist Hospital inside the Texas Medical Center in the field of Breast Conservative Therapy; she developed an Agent Based Model for tissue growing and started the validation process on affected subjects using 3D Surface Imaging (using Kinect) and Ultrasound Imaging. Currently, she is developing experience in planning and management of European research projects, in particular on integrated mobile health solutions. Part of her job is to use signal processing and machine learning techniques in order to develop software for analysis of different types of data obtained using smartphones and wearable devices, but she is also involved in the development of software for image processing (pattern recognition, tracking and 3D projection) in order to extract meaningful features from videos. She is active in development for the m-Resist H2020 project.
